This colorful tapestry uses bold and subdued shades associated with love -reds, pinks, & mauve. Then just to mix it up a bit, a few blocks of earthy brown in just the right places. The weft is a medium pink yarn with very subtle sparkles to create an unexpected foundation. This piece can be used as a wall hanging or a small table mat with the dowel rod removed. It is an original design woven by Florence Todd Thomas on a lap loom fashioned from a picture frame.
